Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of siteiz.com and the services on it (the "Service"), provided by Siteiz, Umeå, Sweden("Siteiz", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying something or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use Siteiz for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The Service

Siteiz shows how AI crawlers and AI search read websites. It includes a free single-page scan, site-wide scans and fix plans for account holders, free tools, one-off purchases (such as the Fix Plan and PDF Pro pass) and AI Search News. Siteiz is under active development: features may change, be added or be removed. We will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 and give a working email address. You sign in with one-time links sent to that address.
  • Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can open your email can sign in to your account.
  • You are responsible for activity in your account. Tell us at support@siteiz.com if you think it was misused.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

3. Plans and limits

The Free plan and the Pro plan each have limits, such as the number of sites and pages per scan, shown on the Plan page in your dashboard. To keep the Service fast and fair for everyone, we may rate-limit scans and pause use that clearly goes beyond normal use of your plan. We will contact you first where we reasonably can.

4. Pro subscription

  • Price and billing. Pro is billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown before you pay. Prices exclude VAT unless stated; VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Businesses with a valid EU VAT number outside Sweden may be charged under the reverse-charge rules.
  • Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. Cancel any time under Plan and billing in your dashboard. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to Free. We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it or as described below.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a period. If it still fails, your account moves to Free.
  • Moving to Free. Your sites and scan history are kept. Free limits apply again: for example you cannot add sites beyond the Free limit, and steps and code are shown for your top fix only.
  • Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a price change for your subscription. The new price applies from your next billing period after that. If you do not accept it, cancel before then.

5. One-off purchases

The Fix Plan and the PDF Pro pass are one-time digital purchases at the price shown before you pay, processed by Stripe, which issues your receipt. The Fix Plan is delivered by email and on your download page, usually within minutes. The PDF Pro pass is active for 24 hours from payment and does not renew.

6. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you buy as a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services and content. Because Siteiz delivers immediately, at checkout you ask us to start right away:

  • One-off purchases (Fix Plan, PDF Pro): you agree to immediate delivery and that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery has started.
  • Pro subscription: you may still withdraw within 14 days of your first payment by emailing support@siteiz.com. We refund the payment minus a proportionate amount for the days you used Pro before withdrawing.

If a purchase does not work because of a problem on our side that we cannot fix, we will refund it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:

  • scan websites you do not own or are not allowed to test (scans visit pages the way a search crawler does);
  • use the Service to overload, attack or probe a website or our systems, or to get around our limits;
  • share an account between unrelated people or companies, or resell the Service without our written permission;
  • copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • infringe anyone else's rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is not serious, we will warn you first.

8. Scan results and advice

Scores, findings, fix plans, code examples and AI Search News are general information, provided "as is". They are not legal or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any ranking, traffic or appearance in AI search. Score gains are calculated from our own checks and are estimates of how those checks will score after a fix. Check code before you put it on your site and keep backups. You decide what to change on your website.

9. Your content and our content

The websites you add and your results belong to you; we only use them to provide and improve the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The Siteiz name, software, design and our original content (including AI Search News) belong to Siteiz. You may share our published content with credit and a link to siteiz.com.

10. Third-party sources

AI Search News summarizes and links to third-party sources. They belong to their owners, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

11. Availability

We aim to keep Siteiz available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may need to pause it for maintenance or because of problems with our providers.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, revenue, data or business. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Siteiz and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end the Service or close an account with 30 days' notice by email. If we end a paid plan for a reason other than your breach, we refund the unused part of your current period.

14. Newsletter

AI Search News is free. You subscribe with a double opt-in and can unsubscribe with the link in any email. We may change or stop the newsletter.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects account holders, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to solve the problem. Consumers in Sweden can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se). Otherwise, disputes are decided by Swedish courts.
