Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Siteiz ("we", "us") collects, why, and the rights you have over it. Siteiz operates the website siteiz.com and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Siteiz is an independent project based in Sweden; a registered legal entity will be named here once established. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@siteiz.com.
What we collect and why
Newsletter and email signups. If you subscribe to the Readiness Radar or request early access, we collect your email address and a record of your consent, including the date you confirmed it. We use this to send you the weekly Readiness Radar and the updates you opted into. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through a double opt-in confirmation and withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
Website scans. When you run a scan, we process the website address you submit and the technical results we generate about it. If you give an email address to receive the report, we process that too. Legal basis: providing the service you asked for and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the scan (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that produces only aggregate statistics such as page views and referrers. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect data that identifies you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical logs. Our hosting and infrastructure providers keep standard logs such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest. These are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Cookies
Siteiz does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and our analytics are cookieless, so we do not show a cookie consent banner. Any cookies we set are strictly necessary for the site to work, which do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We use a small number of trusted providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Supabase, Inc. — database and storage for subscriber and scan data.
- Resend — delivery of our emails.
- Vercel, Inc. — website hosting.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — infrastructure, email routing, document rendering, and privacy-friendly cookieless website analytics.
- LinkedIn — only to publish our own posts to our company page. We do not send your personal data to LinkedIn.
International transfers
Some providers are based outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Subscriber data: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, plus a minimal record of an unsubscribe so we can honor your choice.
- Scan data: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymized.
- Technical logs: kept for a short period, typically up to 90 days, by our providers.
Your rights
Because you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email privacy@siteiz.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method is perfectly secure, but we take protection seriously.
Children
Siteiz is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
